- How to exchange and return an item
According to Article 9 of the Law of Ukraine "On Protection of Consumer Rights", "The consumer has the right to exchange a non-food product of good quality for a similar one from the seller from whom it was purchased, if the goods did not satisfy him in shape, dimensions, style, color, size or otherwise. reasons cannot be used by them for their intended purpose. The consumer has the right to exchange goods of good quality within fourteen days, excluding the day of purchase, unless a longer period is announced by the seller. The exchange of goods of good quality is carried out if it has not been used and if its presentation, consumer properties, seals, labels, as well as the payment document issued to the consumer together with the sold goods are preserved."
To exchange or return a good quality product, the buyer must provide:
• Product (the product has not been used, in intact original packaging containing a label / passport / warranty card).
• Sales receipt (waybill).
To exchange or return goods of inadequate quality, the buyer must provide:
1. Product.
2. Sales receipt (waybill).
3. The packaging in which the goods were delivered.
4. Production label / product passport.
How to get money back for a product - procedure:
Under the terms of a refund for a good quality product, the buyer needs to perform several actions:
• contact the seller and write an application for a refund, in which you must specify your personal data.
• return the purchased product in a whole package, in a complete set specified in the technical documentation (data sheet).
• provide a receipt of purchase, sales receipt or cashier's receipt.
What is the time period required to return the money for the goods
According to the law, when returning goods of proper quality, settlements with the consumer are carried out based on the value of the goods at the time of purchase. The money paid for the goods is returned to the buyer on the day of the return of the purchase (termination of the contract). If the seller (store) does not have the opportunity to return the money immediately, payments are made no later than 7 days from the date of receipt of the goods and a written application for a return.
Refunds are made in the manner in which the payment was made - by bank transfer to the details specified by the buyer in the application, or in cash.
- Goods that cannot be exchanged or returned
The state protects the interests of all its citizens, therefore, in order not to violate the rights of other consumers who purchase products returned by someone, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the "List of goods of good quality that cannot be exchanged (returned)".
All food products (food, drinks, alcohol, baby food, tobacco products) were included in the list of "no return".
